Bread: River Cottage Handbook - Best book on Bread ever

Bread: River Cottage Handbook No.3 is quite simply the best I have ever read on bread.

It is simple, straight-forward and inspirational. Maybe for the beginner the multi-page intro into the process of making bread can be a little daunting, but every moment spent reading this book is time well spent.

The author, Daniel Stevens, just makes the process interesting and fun.

I love the River Cottage series anyway, but this book is in a class of its own and would do well even if it wasn't riding on the back of all of Hugh's hard work.

More on this book in later posts.
